“Not all those who wander are lost.” — J.R.R. Tolkien
Hello and welcome to our travel website. We are excited to have you here. This is a place where we hope to share all our exciting adventures and things we learn while traveling across the globe. We both love to explore new places and crave the adventure that navigating culture, cuisine, and customs provides. We believe that you do not need to travel around the world or spend lots of money to seek the horizons of life. There is so much in our own backyard and free in this world worthy of our time and attention. Our hope is to be a go to resource when you plan your next great escape and be a journal for ourselves to look back on over the years. Here’s to many years of chasing horizon!

Nikhil has traveled through most of the United States, following backroads, mountain passes, and long stretches of open highway with the kind of curiosity that only a lifelong nomad carries. He’s slept under the stars on car‑camping trips, hiked pristine forests, carved fresh snow on winter mornings, and paddled through quiet waters. He feels at home when he is close to the water after growing up in sunny south Florida right next to the Atlantic coastline. Adventure has always been his compass and when younger the winds of opportunity have carried him far and wide. Now married and a father, Nikhil is excited to blend the wild freedom of exploration with the joy of building a home. His hope is to live a life full of exploration, wonder, and learning that is shared with his family.

Anushka has always loved nature and the outdoors but never really imagined that her life would be quite so nomadic at times. She grew up collecting snails and earthworms that she would bring him to her balcony garden and later became a Girl guide and Ranger and then a Girl guide Leader, taking other young girls camping and hiking (or tramping as they say in New Zealand). When she met Nikhil, she heard about car camping for the first time and said absolutely not. They settled on an RV and while initially they had very humble plans for a Truck Bed Pop up Camper, after trying out a couple of different RVs they rented for trips they decided to buy a 22-foot tow along for their growing family. They love travel of all kinds whether its simple trips in the RV, or 20+ hour flights across the world to visit family. Bringing the whole family along on the journey is important to Anushka and some of her favourite things to do is recreate core memories like kayaking, hiking, and visiting beloved places with her son.
